Square Lunda-designs may be used to build up fractals,
that is geometrical figures with a built in self-similarity
(see e.g. Lauwerier).
Figure 27 shows the
first three phases of building up a fractal on
the base of a 2x2 Lunda-design of the type d4'.
The fractal itself admits only two reflections.
Figure 28 presents the first two phases of the construction
of a fractal on the base of a 4x4 Lunda-design.
